relaxed
I finally understand that: cause = time
It is the title of a Broken Social Scene song, one of my favorites because it is so powerful, the kind that gives you goose-bumps.
It's time to show them all that I care! The ones I've neglected, but the ones that have given me so much. The definition, or idea, I see of myself is not reflective in my action. It is as if my heart truly is closed: my chakra is indicative. But now that I am aware, conscious, I am changing it.
I am realizing the time, the passing. Exiting universal time, boundlessness of divine truth. It is a beautiful thing and conception that will always be mine, but to exist there too much is to be un-real. Moderation is necessary between both worlds. The border between soul and reality is where I should be.
Right now "The Best of Youth" plays on TV. It is such a beautiful, quiet, true movie. I suggest you see it, if you want to devote some hours of your life to it: originally an Italian mini-series, it runs 8 hours, but every moment is worth it.
I am feeling connected to myself again, and I bask in the glow. To love ones self is the most beautiful thing, and in it I am fulfilled forever.

diddlydums and the biosocial nature of man

so, as of this moment im holding off on aggressively completing my art matters paper. i wish i had more academia here, i feel stunted in terms of intellectual growth. so easy, so easy, but at least my technical art skills are improving steadily.
i went to the book thing a few weeks ago and now im finally having the time to dig into the books that struck me as somewhat interesting. There's one, titled "THe Biosocial Nature of Man" which does little to distinguish the actual biosocial nature in so many words, but has a rather interesting compilation of synoptic blips on important movements which have served to create 'purpose' in man's experience. One point is made that I am perplexed by: lesser-developed nations create their understanding of man and his purpose through the cultural norm he exists within. It seems simple enough, but I am unsure of how this stays entirely with technologically lacking nations exclusively and does not exist in developed nations.
any one have opinions? i know, im so thorough in my explatives.
well, i should stop this lj nonsense. please, come visit me at mica! let me know when you are planning to be in bmore and we'll have a grand ole' time. promise.
